Like many municipalities, the City of St. Charles is challenged with meeting the annual maintenance of its existing storm water utility system. In addition to the annual maintenance duties of the storm sewer system and its appurtences, the City is also obligated to meet various federal and regional permitting requirements to improve clean water compliance.
