Requirements

To vote or register to vote in Kane County, you must be:

  • A U.S. citizen
  • 18 years of age or older on or before the next election
  • A resident of your voting precinct 30 days or more prior to the next election
  • Currently reside in Kane County, and able to provide two forms of identification, at least one of which contains your current address.

Registering to Vote

If you are a resident of Kane County, contact the Kane County Clerk Office at (630) 232-5990 for information about how to register.

If you have changed your name or moved since last registering, you must re-register. If you move out of Kane County, contact the registrar in your new county to re-register.
