St. Charles Holiday Homecoming is one of the Midwest's most spectacular holiday events. Come to the most magical celebration to kick off your holiday season with the Lighting of the Lights Ceremony on the Friday after Thanksgiving and the Electric Christmas Parade, a Holiday movie, and other themed holiday activities on Saturday.

Lighting of the Lights

Join us Friday, November 29 at 5 p.m. in the 1st Street Plaza to kick off the holiday season. Come together with the St. Charles community as we flip the switch and light up the city with a spectacular display of holiday lights.

Electric Christmas Parade

Saturday Nov. 30 at 5:30 p.m. enjoy the captivating Electric Christmas Parade on Main Street between 6th Street & 4th Avenue. Take in the beautifully lighted parade floats, the high school marching bands, and a special guest - none other than Santa Claus himself!

Other Fun Holiday Activities

Free Holiday Movie - On Saturday, Nov. 30, enjoy a free screening of "Home Alone" at The Arcada Theatre. Doors open at 9 a.m. so you can grab a seat and get some snacks from the lobby. The movie will begin at 10 a.m.

Santa's House - Be sure to visit Santa's House every Saturday and Sunday from Nov. 29 – Dec. 21 from 1-4 p.m. in the 1st Street Plaza.
