NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE

St Charles Zoning Board of Appeals

 

 

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of St. Charles, Illinois on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Municipal Building at 2 East Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois, at which time and place the Board will consider the proposed variation to the regulations of the Zoning Ordinance of St. Charles, Illinois, as follows:

 

Variation Application V-1-2024, submitted by Brandon J. Orlando, record owner of the subject property at 420 Iroquois Avenue, in the City of St. Charles, Illinois, requesting to reduce the minimum building set-back in the front yard, along the east property line, from 30 ft. to 21 feet, based upon the site plan submitted with the application.  

 

The Zoning District for the subject property is RT-1, Traditional Single-Family Residential.

 

Legal Description for property:

LOT 5 IN BLOCK 1 OF CLARK AND MEYER’S ADDITION TO ST. CHARLES IN THE CITY OF ST. CHARLES, KANE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

 

All persons who want to attend the public hearing are welcome to do so.  Anyone wishing to be heard for or against the application for variation may submit statements orally or in writing or both. A copy of the variation application is on file and is available for inspection during normal business hours at the St. Charles Planning Division, 2 E. Main Street, 2nd Floor, St. Charles, Illinois.
