Pride Month Flag Raising

06/03/2024 - 5:45pm
Pride Flag in Front of the Municipal Building

Creating an inclusive community where all feel welcome is one of the Guiding Principles in the City of St. Charles Strategic Plan. The rainbow flag is widely recognized as a symbol of pride, inclusion, and support for the LGBTQ+ community. To help promote acceptance and support for the LGBTQ+ Community in St. Charles, the St. Charles Equity Inclusion Commission is hosting a flag raising ceremony for Pride Month on June 3 at 5:45 p.m. in front of the Municipal Building. All are welcome. Mayor Vitek also will issue the annual Pride Month Proclamation. We join our friends in surrounding communities in confirming unified support of pride, acceptance, and harmony in the Fox Valley.
