2025 Consolidated Election Packets Available on Friday, August 16, 2024

Nomination Packets for the 2025 Consolidated Election will be available starting on Friday, Aug. 16, 2024. Residents may pick up their packet at the Reception Desk in the St. Charles Municipal Building, 2 E. Main Street, from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you prefer to have your packet emailed, please send your request to msheets@stcharlesil.gov and it will be sent by the next business day. Petitions cannot be circulated for signature before August 20, 2024. 

The completed nomination packets must be filed between Nov. 12 and Nov. 18, 2024. All forms are due to the City Clerk’s office, 2 E. Main Street, St. Charles, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Nov 18, 2024.

The 2025 Consolidated Election will be held on April 1, 2025. The following offices, which hold four-year terms, are up for election with one unexpired 2-year term.

  • Mayor (currently Lora Vitek)
  • City Clerk (currently Nancy Garrison)
  • City Treasurer (currently John Harrill)
  • Alderman, Ward 1 (currently Ronald Silkaitis)
  • Alderman, Ward 2 (currently Ryan Bongard)
  • Alderman, Ward 3 (currently Bob Gehm- unexpired 2-year term)
  • Alderman, Ward 3 (currently Paul Lencioni)
  • Alderman, Ward 4 (currently Bryan Wirball)
  • Alderman, Ward 5 (currently Steve Weber)

The Kane County Clerk Office can assist with questions about precincts or general election questions at 630.232.5990 or on the Kane County Clerk website. The DuPage County Elections Division can be reached at 630.407.5600 or online at the DuPage County Election Division website. Election forms are also available online at the Illinois State Board of Elections website or call 217.782.4141. It is advised that candidates running for office consult with an attorney on specific questions regarding election codes, requirements, correct forms, the number of required voter signatures on petitions, circulation and filing dates, etc. The City of St. Charles, the Clerk, and City staff assume no liability, directly or indirectly, because of any errors, omissions or discrepancies.
