Access utility bills, usage data, AutoPay with Silverblaze portal

In February, the City of St. Charles went live with its new utility billing system. The system features an online customer portal, Silverblaze, where they can pay bills, and find useful information about their water and electric utility usage.

Customers can view data from several years, compare their current usage to the previous month, and monitor usage year-over-year.

Customers can also pay their utility bill with not only a credit card, debit card or e-check, but the new Silverblaze portal also accepts PayPal, Venmo, Amazon Pay or by phone at 1.833.425.1113.

Users can sign up for AutoPay through the Silverblaze portal, as well. A small $3.95 fee applies to each transaction made through the portal and by phone, regardless of type.

Customers can also “Go Paperless” and receive an electronic bill via email. Previously issued bills are also accessible online.

To sign up, use your account number (Ex: 00123456-00), email address, and account name as it appears on your utility bill.

No Fee Payments

The City offers automatic payments with a checking or savings account that does not have a transaction fee. Enroll here.

Customers can also mail their payments to the City’s lockbox, place payments in one of the City’s dropbox locations, or drop payments off at the Utility Billing office at the St. Charles City Hall, 2 East Main Street.

For more information, contact the Utility Billing office at 630.377.4426.
