The contractor has completed the paving work and will be finishing up the pavement marking next week. The final sod restoration will take place after September 1st.

The site work surrounding the new water tower is almost complete.
Below is the update through 8/12. The paving stage of the project will continue at several locations.
The contractor will continue this week with the grading of the parkway areas, placing topsoil and adjustment of the utility structures in the roadway to the final pavement elevation. The week of 8/8, the contractor will be placing fresh oil on the roadway in preparation for the final pavement surface with the pavement marking to follow. If weather cooperates, we anticipate the roadway work to be completed by 8/12. The sod restoration work is anticipated to take place in early September.
The remainder of this week and into next week the contractor will be working on installing the aggregate shoulder, grading the parkway where needed and restoration. The final roadway striping will be placed next week and the project will be completed.
Below is the update through August 5. Weather conditions are not looking favorable over the next week, so the schedule may adjust accordingly.
Weather pending, the contractor plans to place fresh oil on the roadway and begin the first layer of paving yet this week. The week of August 1st the contractor will be working to place the final layer of asphalt this week as well as the gravel shoulder.
