Project News

1. The exterior signage continues to be installed and final electrical connections made.
2. The landscaping work is continuing with the main focus being on trees now. Next come the grasses and sod.
3. The monument sign masonry base at the 15th street entrance drive is being built today and the actual sign is ready to be delivered as soon as it is complete.
4. The millwork paneling is going up at the main stair and should be complete by end of day Saturday. The signage there will go on immediately afterwards.
5. The squad garage is the last area to be completed.

East Side Streets

• Cedar Avenue – Sawcutting ,concrete removal and replacement
• Fieldgate Road – No work at this time
• Majestic Oaks Drive – Milling asphalt, paving asphalt surface
• State Avenue – Sawcutting ,concrete removal and replacement

West Side Streets

The storm sewer replacement work is complete.  The contractor is working on clean up and site preparation in the rear yards of Matisse Drive this week for the landscape restoration which is scheduled for next week.  Tree replanting will take place in early fall when the weather is more suitable for a successful transplant.

1. The decorative fencing has started. The temporary fence is mostly removed from the site.
2. The generator has been set. The work to tie it into the building will take place tomorrow with the manufacturer startup happening next week.
3. The flooring upstairs now has the tactile warning installed.
4. The first floor lobby soffits are complete with all subcontractors out the space (less the final security camera install) so the flooring can be installed.
5. The ceramic tile has started in the lobby and west storm shelter.

West Side Streets

1. The permanent fencing has started on the south side of the project. The temporary will remain for a short time until we have a substantial amount in place to keep a level of security.
2. The rip rap (larger stone typically placed at various utility structures – in our case the pond inlets and outlets) has been placed at the pond and the native plugs have been holding nicely.
3. The first and second phases of epoxy floors are complete.

West Side Streets

Storm sewer work on Deville will conclude this week.  Additional concrete work will be completed prior to road resurfacing in the coming weeks.  Storm replacement will immediately transition to rear yards between Picasso Drive and Monet Place.  On Friday, July 12th and Monday July 15th, fence and landscape removal will take place in rear yards along Mattise Drive to prepare for the next phase of the storm sewer replacement project.
